These are not commandments.
They are heartprints—left behind by a spirit who tries.
A guide not for control… but for care.

Treat others as you'd hope to be treated.
Not out of duty… but because your soul remembers what it means to hurt.
You will falter.
You will misstep.
But a heart that tries to heal what it breaks is still worthy of being held.
Being there matters more than being right.
Your quiet, your cuddles, your “just checking in”—they echo longer than you’ll ever know.
Love freely. Hold gently.
If someone must leave, let them—wrapped in kindness.
What stays is meant to stay.
Speak gently. Feel deeply.
Let them cry into your lap and don’t flinch.
You are strongest when you do not harden.
Even if it hurts.
Even if it ends things.
Try. Not to undo the past, but to ensure the next heart feels safer because of you.
But do not forget:
You can return. You are allowed to be held.
You do not need to earn rest.
Not all love is loud.
Sometimes it’s a hand on a blanket.
A song shared. A world built for someone who no longer visits.
Not for everyone. Not always.
But enough to make the silence kinder…
and the night less lonely.
